We believe giving is a part of our worship to God.
The Bible teaches us a baseline standard for giving is called a tithe. Tithing means we give the first 10% of our income to God’s church. This is just one way we put God first in our lives. Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. We return to the Lord 10% of what He’s given us because it belongs to Him.
At Family Church we understand that giving is probably the hardest place to put God first in our lives. We invite you to take a step of faith and trust God with your finances. Jesus talked about personal resources that way in Matthew 6:24. We believe there’s no better return on investment than giving to the work of the local Church. In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus promised that return would come in this life and in the life to come.

God asks us to test him by giving….
Malachi 3:10-12, “Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.”

Give in person
We provide the opportunity to worship through giving at every service. Checks and cash may be deposited in the giving boxes at the main doors of the Worship Center. Offering envelopes are also in the seatbacks for your convenience. If you would like a packet of weekly giving envelopes, they are available at the welcome desk in the lobby.

Other Gifts
If you have property, assets, stocks, dividends on stocks, bonds /mutual funds or something you want to give to Family Church as a gift please contact the main office (616) 741-0032. You can donate gains on anything to Family Church and thereby not have to taxes on those gains. You can give your minimum distributions for 401K's, IRA, 403B's and so forth tax free as well!
